Avengers 4 May Dive Into Time Travel – Revisiting Key Civil War, Avengers Scenes

Avengers: Infinity War is all set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018, but the production on Avengers 4 started a few months ago and is still gonna continue in 2018. Paul Bettany who plays the role of Vision, has already wrapped filming his part in Avengers 4 and the latest Avenger to join him is Scarlett Johansson who plays the super-spy, Black Widow. Johansson’s stunt double, Heidi Moneymaker recently shared a photo on her Instagram stating:

Well, that’s a wrap for us on Avengers! I just want to say a big thank you to this amazing woman, who is just as kind and beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Thank you for an amazing year SJ!!!

Interestingly, the photo shows Scarlett Johansson wearing the same outfit as in the opening scenes of Captain America: Civil War. We reported earlier that Scarlet Johansson’s Black Widow will sport blonde hair in the upcoming Avengers 3.

This indicated that fans will see Black Widow in a completely new look and the Avengers: Infinity War trailer showed exactly that. So what could be the reason for Widow to appear in the same getup as shown in the opening fight scenes in Lagos involving the new Avengers from Avengers: Age of Ultron fighting Crossbones (Frank Grillo)the answer could very well be time traveling

It could very well be a flashback scene but given that Doctor Strange’s Time Stone a.k.a The Eye of Agamotto, time traveling is really a possibility. Additionally, there have been reports and indications that the famous Sanctum Sanctorum will also be featured in Avengers: Infinity War and in light of those reports, this theory seems really plausible. According to some reports, Avengers 4 will take fans back to some of the historical and pivotal moments of the first Avengers movie, where it all began so it’s very much a possibility that fans get to revisit MCU’s glorious history via time travel thanks to Doctor Strange’s Time Stone.

At this point, not much can be said about Avengers 4 because even the title of the movie is a huge spoiler as mentioned by Marvel’s president Kevin Feige himself so we’ll have to wait until after Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Till then, stay tuned for more and latest Hollywood news.
